Wow! We had a great week learning new dance moves with Dean McKerras. We spent four sessions working on a dance routine. On Friday afternoon we all went to the Village Valley Centre to perform our dances in front of an audience. It was great to see lots of parents and grandparents in the audience.

Cosmos Conundrum
We are working with Room 11 to develop a dance for the production. The song is called Crater Critter Hop.
Here are the words to our production song. You can practise singing it at home.
Crater Critter Hop
By Deborah Martin
On the surface of the moon
You’ll sometimes hear a strange old tune
The crater critters do their thing
A crater caper, see them swing
These creepy crawly critters creep
While all the world is fast asleep
To dance and sing the crater critter hop
Jump to the right
And then you shaaaaake it
Jump to the left
And then your boppin
Now turn, turn, turn around
Stir this dusty, crusty ground
Those creepy Crater critters are all hoppin
Now all you critters take your place
A critter crawl in outer space
Moving, grooving to and fro
A crater caper, see them go
Leaping round this lunar land
Feeling fine yeah, feeling grand
To dance and sing the crater critter hop

Our Wonder Wall
Custom Glitter Text
Wow!
We have been wondering!
How did space form?
What are planets made of?
What is inside the solar system?
Where do asteroids come from?
Why is Pluto so far away?
How did the planets get there?
What is space?
Why don't we float on earth?
Why is the sun called a star?
What makes a comet fly so fast?
Why do we live on Earth?
Why do we have stars?
We would love to read your thoughts and ideas about these wonderings.
